Executive Team
Dr. Witkowski is a CPA who also has a PhD in Business Administration from the International University of Business and Law. He has worked in the Israeli healthcare industry for over 40 years, filling a wide variety of positions in both the private and public sectors, including the establishment of a central reporting system for all the government-owned hospitals (encompassing 40% of total hospital beds in Israel). He also served as auditor for 16 hospitals.
Dr. Witkowski filled the Economic Chair on Israel’s National Health Committee, which was an official appointment by the Minister of Health. He also set up and
headed the Hospital Division of Israel’s second largest HMO (Maccabi Health Services – with 2 million members) and composed the Witkowski Report, which was an annual report dealing with the financial operations of the four HMOs in the country.
Simona Bar-Haim – Co- Founder & Scientific Director
Dr. Bar-Haim is a physical therapist with a PhD in Neurophysiology. She heads the Rehabilitation and Motor Control of Walking Laboratory at the Ben-Gurion University of the Negev’s Faculty of Health Sciences, located in southern Israel. She is a nationally and internationally recognized expert on gait analysis and walking rehabilitation.
Dr. Bar-Haim has a deep and broad understanding of motor control and motor learning, which she has applied to Re-Step™ and the specific needs of its users.
