Jacob Witkowski – CEO

jacob-witkowskiDr. Witkowski is a CPA who also has a PhD in Business Administration from the International University of Business and Law. He has worked in the Israeli healthcare industry for over 40 years, filling a wide variety of positions in both the private and public sectors, including the establishment of a central reporting system for all the government-owned hospitals (encompassing 40% of total hospital beds in Israel). He also served as auditor for 16 hospitals.

Dr. Witkowski filled the Economic Chair on Israel’s National Health Committee, which was an official appointment by the Minister of Health. He also set up and
headed the Hospital Division of Israel’s second largest HMO (Maccabi Health Services – with 2 million members) and composed the Witkowski Report, which was an annual report dealing with the financial operations of the four HMOs in the country.

Simona Bar-Haim – Scientific Director

Simona Bar-Haim The Laboratory for Rehabilitation and Motor Control of WalkingDr. Bar-Haim is a physical therapist with a PhD in Neurophysiology. She runs the  Rehabilitation and Motor Control of Walking Laboratory at the Ben-Gurion University of the Negev’s Faculty of Health Sciences, located in southern Israel. She is a nationally and internationally recognized expert on gait analysis and walking rehabilitation.

Dr. Bar-Haim has a deep and broad understanding of motor control and motor learning, which she has applied to Re-Step™ and the specific needs of its users. Ben-Gurion University of the Negev – The Rehabilitation and Motor Control of Walking Laboratory:

Mark Belokopytov – CTO

Dr. Belokopytov is a physiologist with over 20 years of experience in medical scientific research. His fields of expertise include exercise physiology, cardiovascular physiology, neuroprotection, and neurorehabilitation.

He also has extensive experience in medical robotics and medical technologies. His PhD dissertation in neuroscience dealt with neuroprotective echanisms, and he has authored over 100 scientific publications. Dr. Belokopytov also lectures at Ariel University on motor control and motor learning.
