Step of Mind: Socially responsible business with a Jewish twist
JCC students on the Professional Leadership project (PLP) visited SoM during a studying tour in Israel. Excerpt from the PLP Israel blog: Our visit with the health research companyStep of Mind Ltd. enhanced our understanding of scientific and social innovation in Israeli society, and we departed with three major themes: pride in Israeli innovation and Jewish values, appreciation for the determination of Step of Mind to achieve its goals despite political barriers, and admiration of the company’s process of selecting a business model. Not only did Step of Mind give us an example of Israeli scientific achievement to showcase to our communities in the U.S., but at this time of fear and uncertainty, it inspired hope for the future of the Israeli and Palestinian people.
